MCKINNEY, GEORGE KENNETH - The death of Mr. George Kenneth McKinney, husband of the late Edrey V. McKinney of Saint John West occurred on August 2, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Queenstown, NB, on May 24, 1925, a son of the late James and Jennie (Dale) McKinney. Kenneth was a former member of the RCAF and served overseas during the 2nd World War. Mr. McKinney worked for many years as a carpenter and was a member of St. Jude's Church where he helped many times with renovations. He is survived by his son, Raymond (Norma) McKinney of Saint John West, brothers; Harold (Dorothy) McKinney of Uxbridge, ON and Douglas (Ruth) McKinney of Queenstown and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased his wife Edrey, and daughter, Valerie Lynn. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701). Visiting will take place at "Fallsview" on Monday from 7 to 9 pm, and Tuesday from 2 to 4, 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from St. Jude's Anglican Church.
