ROXBOROUGH, MABEL E. - Mabel Elizabeth Roxborough of Sussex, wife of the late Berton S. Roxborough, passed away at her residence on August 6, 2008. She was born in Saint John on August 26, 1911, a daughter of the late Bandmaster Harold "Pete" and May (Harding) Williams. Mabel is survived by her daughter, Moyra Long; and husband, George of Sussex; two grandsons, Mitchell Long of Sussex and Burke Long and wife Rhonda of Moncton; one great grandson, Nathan Long; and several nieces and nephews. Mabel was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was predeceased by sisters, Frances Bear and Patricia Howes; and brothers George and Charles Williams. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Friday August 8, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will take place on Saturday August 9, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel followed by interment at Kirk Hill Cemetery with the Venerable David Barrett officiating. www.sussexfh.com
