LEGASSICK, DESMOND H. - The death of Desmond H. Legassick of Hampton, husband of Carol (McLeod) Legassick occurred August 13, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Montreal, son of the late Desmond and Betty (Dobbin) Legassick. Desi enjoyed four wheeling, gardening, geocaching and watching his children's sporting events. He is survived by his wife Carol; one daughter Nicole, at home; one son, Kyle, Drayton Valley, AB; two sisters, Judie Legassick, Hampton, Susan Bell, Mississauga, ON; one brother, Peter (Lori), Fort McMurray, AB; several nieces and nephews. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visitation 2-4pm & 7-9pm Friday. The funeral will be held Saturday, 10:00 am at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Hampton, with Rev. Leo Martin officiating. Following cremation, interment will be in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery.
