Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, July 26, 2008, Myra Babb of Harbour Grace, age 92 years. Predeceased by her loving husband: Cyril and son: Earl; parents: Kenneth and Jane Gosse; brother: Harold; sisters: Ethel (Norman) Hutchings and Susan (Arthur) LeCureux; parent-in-law: William and Bertha Babb; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Graham and Nellie Babb, William Babb, Pearl and Corbett Evans and Lillian Babb. Leaving to mourn: sons: Brian (Delores), St. John's and Randell (Sharon), Carbonear; daughters-in-law: Virginia Babb, Harbour Grace and Susan Babb, Kitcher, Ont., grandchildren Christopher (Dekota) Babb, Paul (Sarah) Babb, Rebecca (Scott) Strachan, Joshua Babb, Jasmine (Peter) Flannigan, Sarah Babb, Nikki Terry; Philip Terry and Jeffrey Terry; great-grandchildren: Sophie and Norah Strachan, Riley and Lillian Flannigan, Pearson Babb and Jack Terry; brothers-in-law: Canon R.R. Babb, St. John's and Lorenzo (Estelle) Babb, Harbour Grace, sisters-in-law: Doris Gosse, St. John's, Maisie (Alec) Moores, Ida Weeks and Lillian Babb, all of Harbour Grace; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Tuesday, July 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9:30 p.m. and Wednesday, July 30 from 10:30 a.m.to 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday at 2 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
