Passed away at the L.A. Miller Centre on Thursday, February 28, 2008, Margaret (Peggy) O’Connell, in her 78th year, formerly of Curling, Bay of Islands. Predeceased by her husband Kevin (December 11, 2007) and her mother and father John and Beatrice O’Brien. Leaving to mourn her three children: Ann Ring (Ed), Michael (Connie) and Brian (Margot); nine grandchildren Edward (Tanya), Megan, Michael, Ryan (Heather), Rachel, Steven, Lacy, Kieran, Maggie Mae; brothers Tom (Patricia), John, Dan; sisters Joan McKinnon and Elizabeth Howard (Richard); sister-in-law Ann Basha; nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the Palliative Care staff at the L.A. Miller Centre for the care and kindness they provided to Mom during her illness. Cremation has taken place. Visitation was held at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, Sunday, March 2nd from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 3rd, at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of the World Parish, Topsail Road, St. John's.
