CORMIER, PATRICIA RAE - Patricia Rae Cormier, passed away unexpectedly on August 20, 2008. Born December 16, 1950, in P.E.I. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Lea (Bryanton) Champion. Patricia worked as a Registered nurse and prominent businesswoman for many years. Patricia enjoyed nature, the love for books and had passion for seeing the world. Surviving are children Justin (Jennie) Cormier, Lower Sackville, NS; Melissa Cormier, (Mark Peters), Saint John; Patricia Taylor Rae Cormier, Saint John; a brother Charlie Lowther, Sussex; sisters, Lauralea Hourihan, P.E.I.; Janet (Trevor) Shaw, Lepreau, NB; grandchildren, Drew, Odessa and Carter; former loving husband, Wayne Cormier and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Brian. Visiting hours will be held this evening (Friday, August 22) from 7 to 9 pm at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 pm, from Fundy Funeral home Chapel. Private interment will be held at a later date.
