Daughter of the late Lavera (Osgood) McShane and Mark McShane. Survived by her husband, Melvin; 2 sons, Allan (Debi) Weatherby, St. Stephen, NB and Bob Weatherby, St. Stephen, NB; 2 daughters, Sandra (Gerald) McCrossin, St. Stephen, NB and Betty (Brent) Calder, Oak Bay, NB; 2 sisters, Juanita (Dick) Dickerson, Oromocto, NB and Geraldine (Harvey) Childs, Calais, Maine; 1 brother, James McShane, St. Stephen, NB; 3 sisters-in-law, Geraldine (Carl) McShane, St. Stephen, NB, Cairine (Harold) McShane, St. Stephen, NB and Sallee (Paul) McShane, Calais, Maine; 2 grandsons, Christopher McCrossin, St. Stephen, NB and Ryan Weatherby, St. Stephen, NB, 3 granddaughters, Karla McCrossin, St. Stephen, NB, Stephanie Weatherby, Yellowknife, NWT and Emily Weatherby, St. Stephen, NB; 2 step granddaughters, Pam MacMillan, St. Stephen, NB and Melanie Duffy, Halifax, NS; 3 step grandchildren, Danielle Hawkins, Dustin Hawkins and Jordyn MacMillan; 2 great grandchildren, Ty and Kali of St. Stephen, NB; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, 3 brothers, Carl, Harold and Paul. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Stephens Roman Catholic Church, Milltown Blvd., St. Stephen, NB on Friday August 29, 2008 at 11 AM. Interment at Milltown Roman Catholic Cemetery, Barter Settlement, NB. Visiting hours will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB on Thursday August 28, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
