SHEPHARD, GLADYS MARIE - The death of Gladys Marie Shephard of Saint John West occurred unexpectedly at her home on August 27, 2008. Miss Shephard was born in Saint John on September 23, 1947, the daughter of the late Carroll A. and Agnes Marie (Kerrigan) Shephard. Gladys gained many friendships through her younger years with the Saint John Ski Club and through the insurance industry where she obtained her membership of Chartered Insurance Professionals' Society (CIP). She was also a member of Saint John Vocational School Alumnae. She is survived by her brother Art (Dorothy) Shephard of Saint John West; sisters, Carol McNally of Saint John East, Winnifred Shephard of Ottawa, Mary (Tim) Donovan of F'ton Junction, and Agnes (Bob) Landry of Saint John East, several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701), with visitation on Friday 2 to 4, 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Saturday at 10 am from Fallsview Chapel. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Following the interment, a time of fellowship will take place at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. Donations in memory of Gladys to the N.B.
