MAGUIRE, LYNA JANE - The death of Lyna Maguire, of Lorneville, wife of the late Berton Maguire occurred after a brief illness at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 4, 2008. Born in Bay Du Vin, Northumberland County, she was the daughter of the late Geoffrey and Emily (Kingston) Dutcher. Lyna enjoyed the outdoors and her early morning walks, she also attended the Brethren Assembly in Lorneville. She is survived by four sons, William (Sharon), of Quispamsis, Berton Jr. (Nancy), of Lorneville, Paul (Wanda), of Saint John and Eric (Debbie), of Lorneville; one daughter, Darlene (Doug) Braydon, of Grand Bay-Westfield. She is also survived by her three brothers, Henry Dutcher, of Bay Du Vin, NB, Sylvanus Dutcher, of Caledonia, Ont., and Lawrence Dutcher, of Saint John; grandchildren, Jeff, Joel, Kristi, Troy, Kyle, Jolene, Patrick, Matthew, Lyndsay and Kaylee; great grandchildren, Shannon, Daniel, Matthew, and Ofir; two uncles, Simon Kingston, of Miramichi and Donald Kingston, of Ontario. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Ethel Dykeman and Mildred Flemming; brother, Arnold Dutcher and infant brother, Geoffrey Dutcher. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) visitation will take place on Sunday, September 7, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from Castle Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Lorneville Cemetery. Donations, in memory of Lyna, may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
