PARLEE, JESSIE IRENE - The death of Jessie Irene Parlee wife of the late Lloyd Parlee of Exmoor, NB, formerly of Saint John, NB, occurred on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Dr. George DuMont Hospital at the age of 83. Born in Sillikers, NB, she was the daughter of the late Bertram and Sarah (Silliker) Mullin. Jessie worked in the administrative department at the Saint John General Hospital, was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 2 Ladies Auxiliary and was involved with the Women's Institute. Jessie is survived by: two sons: Bert (Pattie) of Mill Valley, California; Jack (Jocelyn) of Halifax, NS; two sisters: Edith Ashton of Chaplin Island Road, NB; Elva Holder of Exmoor, NB; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors at Meadows Funeral Home on Monday, September 15, 2008 from 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Meadows Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday at 2 PM with Pastor Daniel Cormier officiating. Burial will take place in the Whitney Baptist Church Cemetery.
