DUNSTAN C. KELLY
KELLY, DUNSTAN C. - Dunstan C. Kelly of Saint John, husband of Dulcie A. Kelly passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on October 2, 2008. Dunstan was born in Rangoon, Burma on May 19, 1933. He emigrated to the United Kingdom in 1948 and to Canada in 1963. Mr. Kelly spent his early years in Canada in Montreal plying his trade as draftsman before moving to Saint John in the early 1980's to join Saint John Shipbuilding for the design of new frigates for the Canadian Navy. He has been a true and faithful servant of his Lord for all his adult life, recently as an adherent of Forest Hills Baptist Church. Dunstan, who was known as Dan, wrote extensively about his Christian Faith and shared his writing with family and friends without exception. Besides his wife Dulcie, Dunstance is survived by step-son Colville Drainey, of London, England and his sisters, Maureen Doward, Queensland, Australia and Meg Kelly, New Zealand. The body is resting at Fundy Funeral Home where cremation has taken place. Services for Mr. Kelly will be held on Tuesday October 7, 2008 at 11 am, with Rev. Roger Graham officiating.
