SCOTT, JAMES WESLEY - James Wesley Scott (November 7, 1916 - October 13, 2008), passed away at the home of his daughter, Enid. He lived at Ste. Anne's Court in Fredericton, and formerly in Belleisle Creek, NB. He was the husband of the late Marjorie (Sharp) Scott and son of the late Robert and Lillian (Tayes) Scott. He is survived by daughters, Enid Beckwith of Fredericton, Mae Goodfellow of London, ON, and Verna and Ed Corey of Fredericton; grandchildren, Susan and John MacKenzie, John Beckwith, Bonnie and Greg Thompson, Scott Goodfellow, Kim and Gord Gamble and Greg Corey; great grandchildren, Lauren and Sean MacKenzie, Holly and Lucas Thompson, Leah, Gillian and Scott Gamble; brother, William and Dorothy Scott of Hoyt; sister, Phyllis McKay of Sussex; plus several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sons-in-law Fred Beckwith and Sonny Goodfellow. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB with visiting Wednesday from 3 to 8pm. Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, October 16, 2008, from Kings Kirk United Church, Belleisle Creek, NB. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Belleisle Creek.
