MCCUTCHEON, MADELYN (LYNN) ISABEL - The death of Madelyn (Lynn) Isabel McCutcheon occurred on Thursday October 23, 2008 at The Saint John Regional Hospital, after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. Born 1950 in Saint John she was the daughter of Lorne Campbell and the late Mary (Hulbert) Bedford. Lynn was a hockey fanatic and loved the Montreal Canadiens as well as camping, music and spending much of her time with her family. Lynn was a hardworking generous extremely kind individual to all who knew her. Lynn was a proud mother and devoted grandmother. Lynn is survived by one son Richard of Saint John; one daughter Crystal McCutcheon (Rolland Despres) also of Saint John; her longtime companion Alan Logan of Saint John; and her long time best friend "Sister" of over 30 years Sue Maxwell of Saint John; one step sister Doris Clark of Pictou, N.S. and grandchildren Kristin McCutcheon and Jayden McCutcheon. One niece, two nephews and several cousins, aunts and uncles. Lynn was predeceased by her mother Mary Bedford. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Monday October 27th and Tuesday October 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday October 29, 2008 from Fundy Funeral Chapel at 10:30 am.
