RONALD WALTER RYDER
RYDER, RONALD WALTER- 1943-2008 Ronald Walter Ryder, 65, of Canaan Forks, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on November 3, 2008. Ronald was born in Moncton on September 19, 1943 the son of the late Walter Lorne Ryder and Etta Mae Florence (Corey) Ryder. Ron was a Taxi driver for over 38 years, having drove in Moncton and in Ontario. In his earlier years he loved to fish and hunt and being in the outdoors. He will be remembered for his story telling and great sense of humour. He will never be forgotten and will live on in the hearts of his family forever. He will be deeply missed by his two sisters, Myrna Duffy of Hopewell Hill and Myrtle Ballantine (Raymond) of Baysville, Ontario; by his two brothers, Reginald Ryder (Connie) of Newcastle and Cecil Ryder (Gloria) of Cherryville. He will also by sadly missed by his several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by an infant sister. He will be resting at the New Canaan Baptist Church with visitation on Wednesday, November 5th from 6 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the New Canaan Baptist Church on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 2:30pm with Pastor Dave MacPherson officiating. Interment will be held in the New Canaan Cemetery.
