WHEELOCK, LOUISE DEFOREST (MACALPINE) - Born in Saint John, NB in 1919, passed away on November 16, 2008. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Dimock (Errol) of Moncton, NB and Susan MacAlpine Foshay of Halifax; step-son, Brian Wheelock (Ann) of Saint John, NB; step-daughters, Wendy Johnson of Medicine Hat, AB and Anne Vickery (Kevin) of Yarmouth; grandchildren, Ian MacAlpine, Scott and Margie Wheelock, Matthew and Clara Johnson, Jennifer and Adam Vickery; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Gordon Wheelock and her son, Alex MacAlpine. A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 30 at 2 pm at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of NS and Friends of the Public Garden.
