GRAY, LEWIS DONALD - The death of Lewis Gray of Poodiac, NB, husband of Mary (Comeau) Gray, occurred Thursday, November 20th, 2008, at his daughter's residence in Hampton, NB. Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late James and Mary (Martin) Gray. Besides his wife, Mary, Lewis is survived by four daughters, Mary Mellor (Richard), Hampton, NB, Christina McCloskey (Travis Haley), St. Stephen, NB, Elisa Ehrhardt (Geoff), Salisbury, NB and She-ra Gray (Billy Crowe), Sussex, NB; one son, Louis Mercer (Wendy Sears), Barnesville, NB; two sisters, Joan McGinnis, NS and Dolly Jones, ON; seven grandchildren, Christy, Sarah and Paul Mellor, Anna and John Ehrhardt, Hunter McCloskey and Daniel Crowe; several nieces and nephews. As well as, his parents, Lewis was predeceased by three sisters, Agnes Perry, Shirley Goguen and Connie Gray; nine brothers, Georgie, James, Gordon, Walter, Ronald, Frederick, Andrew, Vincent and Alfred Gray. At Lewis' request his body has been donated to Dalhousie University for medical research. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 26th, 2008, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Reid's Funeral Home, 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, (506) 832-5541.
