TISSERA, RUWAN - W.U.C. Ruwan Tissera, 39, of Petitcodiac, passed away, Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Marawila, Sri Lanka, he was the son of Francis and Mary Matilda Tissera of Sri Lanka. He was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly Pentecostal Church, Killams Mills and was an employee of Maple Leaf Foods, Moncton, and was a member of his local union. A cherished husband and loving father, he will be sadly missed by his wife, Pushpa Kumari (Fernando); daughters, Tuscany, Goldini; son, Divine; his parents; sisters, Rohani Fonsaka (Alexi), Nilani Tissera both of Sri Lanka. As well as Pushpa Kumari and Ruwan's Canadian Family, Mom and Dad, Bob and Kathy Osborne of Corn Hill; Grandma, Ruth Osborne of Corn Hill; grandparents, Don and Joanne Nolan of Connecticut; siblings, Erin Osborne (Kelly) of Petitcodiac, Bronwen Martin (Greg) of Corn Hill, Megan Smith (Ben) of Petitcodiac, Nolan Osborne (Jessie) of PEI; aunt and uncle, Kathy and Lenny Reviczky of Corn Hill; several nieces and nephews from Sri Lanka, Italy and Canada. He was predeceased by a brother, Nevill Tissera. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac, where visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral will be held at the Full Gospel Assembly, Killams Mills, on Wednesday at 11 am, Pastors David Holmes and Rosemary Holmes officiating. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Cornhill.
