BLAIR CHARLES WALDIN
WALDIN, BLAIR CHARLES - Blair Charles Wadlin, 104 years, passed away at the Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen, formerly of St. George, on Friday November 21, 2008. He was the son of the late Charles and Edith Wadlin. Born in Beaver Harbour, NB on January 9, 1904. He is survived by one granddaughter, Sandra (Wadlin) Zarins of Brampton, ON; daughter-in-law, Marion Wadlin of Pennfield, NB; brother, Lawrence Wadlin of Moncton; several nieces and nephews. He was a Veteran of the First World War, a member of the Merchant Navy and of the St. George AM/FM No. 12 Masons for 62 years. He was predeceased by his wife Ada (Justason) Wadlin, son Carl Wadlin, three brothers Roy Wadlin, Ernest Wadlin and Hollis (Buster) Wadlin; three sisters Betty (Wadlin) Palk, Bertie Wadlin and Verta (Wadlin) Justason. A Memorial Service will be held from Christ Anglican Church, Pennfield on Wednesday November 26, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will take place in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to your church or charity of your choice will be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, Saint John (646-2424).
