MAGUIRE, HARMON EUGENE - The death of Harmon E. Maguire, husband of the late Muriel E. (Beers) Maguire, surrounded by family, occurred at the Loch Lomond Villa on Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Harmon was born in Saint John, on September 26, 1912, a son of the late Walter and Sarah (Cunningham) Maguire. He was predeceased by a son, Harmon J.B.; brothers, Malcolm, Murdock and Robert and a daughter-in-law, Sharon Maguire. He is survived by one daughter, Judy E. Bonnevie (Robert), of Saint John; two sons, Gary W., of Saint John and Gregory N. (Janis), of Saint John; daughter-in-law, Sheila Maguire; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. He worked as a Longshoreman for many years, lobster fisherman, carpenter and was involved in The Family Motel & Restaurant business on Manawagonish Road. He was a member of the Carleton Union Lodge No. 8, for over 35 years. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John West (634-1701) visitation will take place on Sunday, November 30, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Harmon's life will take place at Fallsview Chapel on Monday, December 01, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Ext. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association, Multiple Sclerosis, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.
