LEAMAN, CHARLES - Charles Douglas Leaman of Saint John, husband of Marilyn (Mawhinney) Leaman, passed away peacefully at Kennebec Manor on Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Born at Saint John, he was a son of the late George and Helen (Hebert) Leaman. Charles was formerly employed with the Pender Nail Company, the Rocca Group, and with the School Board. He was an adherent of Tabernacle Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by his sons, David and Keith, both of Saint John; his sisters, Sheila Speight of Nauwigewauk, Emma Clark and Kathleen Blanchard, both of Bowmanville, ON; brothers James Leaman (Betty) of Ontario, Robert Leaman (Marie) of Ontario, and Lawrence Leaman of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 79 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM from Tabernacle Baptist Church. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
