O'LEARY, CONSTANCE - The death of Constance (Connie) Christine O'Leary occurred peacefully at home on Thursday December 18, 2008. Born 1927 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Finnigan) O'Leary. Connie worked at Way Side Industries for over 30 years, and was a member of the Saint John Association of the Deaf. She is survived by her brother Ronnie O'Leary; sister Ellen Kennedy; brother-in-law Larry Gilbert; nieces and nephews: Karen McCully (Jeff), Laurie Kincade (Hughie), Jim Gilbert (Dawna), Mary-Jean Brown (Glen), Theresa Kennedy, Tim Kennedy (Lynn), Ann-Marie Kelly (Sean), Patricia Patterson and Paul Kennedy (Janis); several grand nieces and nephews; and many friends within the Deaf Community. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Gerald O'Leary, sister Veronica Gilbert, and brother-in-law Pat Kennedy. A Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Monday December 22, 2008 at 2 p.m. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.
