MACLEAN, C. MAYNARD - The death of Maynard MacLean of South Musguash, NB, husband of Donna (Clayton) MacLean, occurred on December 18, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Cumberland Bay, NB on August 26, 1937, he was the son of the late Garnett and Lavenia (McVicar) MacLean. Maynard loved to spend time fishing and hunting with his sons. He loved boating on the Saint John River. Maynard was the coach of Island View, St. Rose, and Barnhill School's. Survived be his loving wife Donna; four sons, Robert (Norma) of South Musquash, NB; Garnett (Shelly) of Calgary, AB; Alec (Lourie) of South Musguash and Michael (Holly) of Saint John; one daughter, Terri (Kevin) Brideau of Garnett Settlement, NB; thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents and two granddaughters. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Sunday from 12-2 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Sunday, December 28, 2008 at 2 pm. Interment to take place at a later date.
