WAYCOTT, HAZEL L. - Hazel Louise (Shaw) Waycott passed away at Kennebec Manor on December 20, 2008 with her family at her side. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family of six brothers and two sisters. She was born on February 27, 1921 in Maces Bay to Cyrus and Mary (Mawhinney) Shaw. She is survived by two sons; Richard (Elva) Waycott of Maces Bay and Maurice (Ann) Waycott of Waweig, and one daughter Helen (Lester) Hyslop of Maces Bay, nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons. She was a member of Trinity Anglican Church, Maces Bay, a life member of Trinity A.C.W., and the Lancaster Deanery A.C.W., a choir member for many years, and a member of the Fundy Bay Senior's, Maces Bay and a former member of the Orange Lodge. She was predeceased by her husband Sydney and granddaughter Lorene March. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home (634-1701), 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West. Visiting at Fallsview on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place at Fallsview Chapel on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Immediately following the service a reception will take at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre.
