It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sidney Reid announce his passing on Monday, February 11th, 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 82nd year. He will be sadly missed by his loving family; sons: Freeman, Morris (Gladys), Otto (Althea), Lloyd and Wade (Linda); two daughters: Aneta Payne and Myrna Payne; his grandchildren: Paul, Patricia, Jason, Linda, Brian, Melvina, Sheila and Wade Jr.; his one brother, Leslie; also a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Myrtle in 1985. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home, 63 Northmain Street, Deer Lake today, Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where also funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with Canon Meade officiating.
