FRANCES T. GODIN

GODIN, FRANCES T. - It is with great sadness the family announce the unexpected death of Frances T. Godin of Saint John widow of the late Maurice Godin, at home on December 31, 2008. Born 1926 in Minto to the late John and Cynthia (Grant) Rennie. Frances loved playing Bingo, was an avid card player, a member of the "Skip-Boo Girls"and enjoyed the senior bus tours, dances and especially her Sunday drives with Michael. In her earlier years she worked for the Loch Lomond and Lakewood Schools as a Janitor and was a Nanny for Wilband family for over 15 years. Frances is survived by her sons Michael, Gilbert (Margaret), Paul all of Saint John, and Andrew of Halifax, NS; daughters Karen Levis of QC, Linda (Clovis) of Moncton, Margaret (Douglas) and Ruby both of Saint John; grandchildren, Maurice, Annette, Bernice, Alexander, Simone, Keith, Daryl, Jason, Adam, Ian, Breanna and Denis; great-grandchildren Kate-Lynn, Brooke, Timothy, Evan, Jonathan and Carolan; nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her husband Maurice and her parents, Frances was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Marie Godin; special companion Havelock MacLean brothers Ramsey, Arthur and Hazen; sisters Ruby and Lucy. Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. with visitation on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday January 5th, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
