KENNEDY, BESSIE MAY (BELYEA) - The death of Bessie May (Belyea) Kennedy, 84, of Cambridge-Narrows, NB, occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital, on January 10, 2009. Bessie was the wife of the late Frank Kennedy. She was born on April 1, 1924, in Narrows, NB, the daughter of the late Lemont and Marion (McGarrity) Belyea. She is survived by sons Gordon and Janice Kennedy of Nova Scotia, Allen Kennedy of Cambridge-Narrows, and Brian and Sharon Kennedy of Cambridge-Narrows; daughters Lois and Harry McGibbon of Cambridge-Narrows, Barbara Kennedy of Kosovo, and Jackie and Bob Thibodeau of Cambridge-Narrows; grandchildren Kelly, Shelly, Sherry, Lisa, Jeremy, Christopher, Michael, Cory, Samantha, Virgil, Jennifer, Joshua and Bobbie-Jean; great grandchildren Brennan, Taylor, Liam, Christopher, Isaiah, Logan, Luke, Grace, Gavin, Gracie, Owen, Jenna, Ian, Brianna, Haley, Olivia, Philip, Jacob, Jessica, Brittany, Devon, Kohl, Dylan and Denver; brothers George and Herman; sister Alice Simpson; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Donald, Gordon, Robert, Harold and Norman; and sister Elsie. She is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, with visiting on Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's Chapel at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, January 14, 2009.
