LONG, MARJORIE ELEANOR - The death of Marjorie Eleanor (Gale) Long, age 67, of Saint John, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 18, 2009. She was the common-law-wife of Joseph (Bud) Albert and the daughter of the late Louis and Florence (Pearson) Gale. She is survived by daughters Susan and Duncan Kennedy of Oromocto, Nancy Long of Saint John and Samantha and Michael Bustard of Saint John; sons Charles and Yvonne Long of Norton, and Paul and Cathy Cormier of Grand Bay; 17 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters Shirley and Len Chepeski of Eganville, ON, Joan McLean and Russell Whitehouse of Sussex, Bernice and Russell Otis of Norton and Teresa and Rick Campbell of Texas; brothers Louis and Eileen of Pembroke, ON, Charlie and Bernice of Powassan, ON, Jimmy and Donna of Fort Nelson, BC and Billy and Sarah Gale of Norton; Aunt Tessie Flinn; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Robbie and sister Rose. She is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Wednesday from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2009.
