MCCLUSKEY, LORNA E. - The death of Lorna Esther (Jennings) McCluskey, wife of the late Elmer McCluskey, occurred on January 18, 2009 on her 92nd birthday at the Carleton Kirk Lodge. Born in Saint John on January 18, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Annie (Miller) Jennings. Lorna is survived by one son Greg (Eileen) McCluskey, two daughters; Carol (Greg) Stevens, and Faye (Rod) Gautreau, all of Saint John, grandchildren; Heather and Kate McCluskey, David Dudley, Jennifer (Kevin) O'Hara, Sarah, Brian, and Justin Gautreau, and great-granddaughter Caylin Dudley, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers William, Frank, Arthur, and Alan Jennings, twin sister Lena Prosser, and other sisters Lila Lee, Dorothy Connor, Vera Kane, and Eleanor James. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701). Visiting on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday from 2 to 4, and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 1 p.m. from Fallsview Chapel. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Following the interment a reception will take place at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre.
