SMALL, AUDREY - The death of Audrey Small, wife of the late Alexander S. Small occurred in her 86th year on Monday January 19, 2009 at her daughter's residence. Born 1923 in East Saint John she was the daughter of the late Albert and Carrie (Gough) Robertson. She spent most of her life on the Kingston Peninsula farming and gardening and she took pride in her beautiful flower gardens. She loved fishing, hunting, the outdoors and her precious animals and every morning in the summer at daybreak she would be out in her gardens. She was the youngest of 13 children and the last surviving sibling. Audrey is survived by one son John Small and one daughter Carolyn Perrin both of Kingston; one grandson and three great-grandsons. Besides her parents and husband Audrey was predeceased by seven sisters and five brothers. The family would like to thank Sara Wanamaker of Extra Mural for going above and beyond her duties. Audrey appreciated her so much and she was like part of the family. We would also like to thank the rest of the Extra Mural Nurses, especially Joyce Ward and Heather Williams for their kindness during Audrey's last couple of days. Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John (646-2424) By request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
