ERB, OTTY - The death of Otty Erb of French Village, husband of Alma (Lamb) Erb occurred January 21, 2009 at Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Kingston, son of the late Warren and Gertrude (Lamb) Erb. Otty was a carpenter and also worked in lumbering, trucking and with C.N.R. He was a member of St. Andrew's Anglican Church, French Village. He is survived by his wife Alma; four daughters, Carolyn Clark (Leonard), Saint John, Judy Erb, Kingston, Jane Erb, French Village, Debbie Warren (Mark), Montana; two sons, Wayne Erb (Charline), Saint John, Rick Erb (Christine), French Village; 24 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons, Bruce and David and a grandson, Jonathan. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visitation 7 to 9pm Thursday and 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm Friday. The funeral will be held Saturday, 11:00am, at Reid's Funeral Home with Rev. Marian Lucas-Jefferies officiating. Interment in St. Andrew's Cemetery, French Village, in the spring.
