BACH, OVA - At York Manor Nursing Home, Fredericton, January 28, 2009, Mr. Ova Bach of Royal Road and formerly of New Denmark, passed away at the age of 80 years. He was married to the former Elaine Harding. Born at New Denmark in 1928, he was a son of the late Anton and Laura (Jeppesen) Bach. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Mark Lajoie (Elizabeth) of Royal Road, granddaughter, Heather, great grandchildren, Michael and Josee, one sister, Greta Nyborg of New Denmark, sister-in-law, Constance Bach of Scotch Colony, as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Peter, Erling and Christen, sisters, Anna Justesen and Ellen Johansen. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls from where his funeral service will be held Saturday, January 31st at 2 p.m., with Pastor David Knudson officiating. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, New Denmark.
