ELLIS, ARTHUR FREDERICK - The death of Arthur Frederick Ellis, husband of Bernice (McRae) Ellis, occurred at his residence on Thursday January 29, 2009. Born 1929 in Victoria Beach, Annapolis County, NS he was the son of the late Arthur and Martha (Blanchard) Ellis. Arthur owned and operated Arthur Ellis Well Drilling for many years. He also worked in his own Machine Shop. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. Besides his loving wife Bernice, he is survived by sons Dana (Lorraine) of Barnesville and Bruce (Valerie) of Sackville, NS; daughters Debbie Abrahamsen (Rolf) of Willow Grove, Heather McFarlane (Doug) of Saint John and Carolyn Hogenbirk (Adrian) of Willow Grove; one brother Earle Ellis (Helen) of Victoria Beach, NS; 13 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three nephews and many friends.
