WRIGHT, FAITH - Mrs. Faith Wright of Sussex passed away on January 31, 2009 at the age of 76. She was the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Margaret (Fielding) LaKing and the wife of the late Edgar Wright who passed away in 1991. Faith is survived by two daughters: Maureen Mitton (Ronnie) of Penobsquis and Sandra McVicar (Kenny Christian) of Hampton; five sons: Lawrence, Richard (Christine) and Willie Wright (Darlene Flowers) all of Sussex, Edward (Diane) and Percy all of Penobsquis; 18 grandchildren: 19 great grandchildren: three brothers: Calvin LaKing (Frances), Guy LaKing (Teenie) and Lawrence LaKing (Betty); two sisters-in-law, Marion LaKing all of McAdam and Marjorie LaKing of Woodstock, several nieces and nephews, as well as by Sherry and Gail McWilliams and Paul Humphrey. Faith was predeceased by two sisters: Mabel Roberts and Irma Bishop, five brothers: James, Lorenzo, Edward, Milford and Rev. Maynard LaKing and by her friend Gordon Humphrey. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4, 7 to 9pm. A Celebration of Faith's life will be held from Abundant Life United Pentecostal Church on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Cardwell Cemetery in the spring. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Faith, the family has suggested the Canadian Cancer Society.
