LLOYD MACDOUGALL
MACDOUGALL, LLOYD - The death of Lloyd MacDougall, loving husband to Betty (Smith) MacDougall occurred on Friday February 6, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1920 in Bloomfield, P.E.I., he was the son of the late Fraser and Sadie (McAusland) MacDougall. Lloyd worked as Crane Maintenance at The Saint John Ship Building for 35 years retiring in 1986. He was a member of Renforth Seniors Club and a former member of The Goodwill Club. Besides his wife he is survived by one son Robert (Hope) of Halifax, N.S., daughters Margaret Rickett (Tony) of Rothesay and Cynthia Turner (Alvin) of Saint John; one brother Ralph (Rita) of Saint John; one sister Eleanor Baxter (Robert) of Essex, Ont.; three grandchildren Brittany, Mackenzie and Robin and one great grandchild Lily. Besides his parents Lloyd was predeceased by brothers Ernest, Cecil, David and Charles MacDougall as well as one sister Elizabeth Ferguson. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. (646-2424) with visitations on Monday February 9, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday February 10, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
