BASTARACHE, RITA MARY - The death of Rita Mary Bastarache, formerly of Simms Court, occurred on February 13, 2009 at the Kennebec Manor. Born in Saint John on July 30.1917, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Marcelline (Daigle) Bastarache. Miss Bastarache was retired from Zeller's, and was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church. She is survived nephews; Paul (Anne) Bastarache of Harvey, and Terry Bastarache of Saint John, as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and brother Leo Joseph Bastarache. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701). Visiting on Tuesday from 2-4, and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service and interment will take place later in the spring.
