DIXON, WAYNE (1934-2009) - Wayne Dixon of Perth-Andover passed away peacefully at St. Joseph Hotel Dieu Hospital on February 18th, 2009. Born in Tilley, NB on August 17th, 1934, he was the son of the late Elwood and Bertha (Smith) Baker. Wayne leaves behind his wife Helen Dixon (Young); his children Linda Dixon (Dean) of Dartmouth, NS, Todd Dixon (Bonnie) of Saint John, Brian Dixon (Josee) of Perth-Andover; sisters Clara Pirie (Cecil) of Perth-Andover, Dorothy "Annie" Larue (Joseph) of Brandon, Florida, Mavis Plenge (Doug) of Hermon, ME; brother Daymon Baker (Margaret) of Scott Lake Road, NB; and three grandchildren. Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will held on Saturday, February 21st, 2009 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Helene Burns officiating. Interment will be in Larlee Creek Cemetery at a later date.
