Son of the late Jeremiah C. and Susan (Lee) Collins. Survived by his wife, Ferne, six children; Judy Hicks (Wayne), Rothesay, NB, Jerry (Gale) Collins, Quispamsis, NB, Sandra Parks (Peter), Mayfield, NB, Susan Stevenson (Kevin) St. Stephen, NB, Daniel (Susan) Collins, Rollingdam, NB, Donna Beverly (Bill), East Machias, Maine, 10 grandchildren, Dewayne Hicks, Kyle, Tyler and Tegan Collins, Sarah Cook, Alyssa and Victoria Stevenson, Molly and Emma Collins, Wm. Hunter Beverly, one great grandson, Cody Hicks, two sisters, Evelyn Nixon (Eldon), St. Stephen, NB, Edna Southard (Eddie) Calais, Maine, sister-in-law, Olive E. Collins, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two grandchildren, Crystal Hicks and Clayton Cook, one brother, Ralph Collins and one sister, Gladys Russell. Funeral Service will be held at The S.O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB on Wednesday February 25th, 2009 at 2 PM. Interment at Rollingdam United Church Cemetery. Family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12 to 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Charlotte County Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
