ROSS, GORDON KENNETH - The death of Gordon Kenneth Ross, age 84, of Pearsonville, NB, the husband of Mary (Smith) Ross, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, Sussex, on Saturday, February 21, 2009. He was born on June 9, 1924, in Cassidy Lake, NB, the son of the late Eleanor (Ross) and Victor Smith. He is survived by his wife Mary; son David and Phyllis of Mount Middleton; daughters Marilyn Munroe-Wutzke and Gord Wutzke of Buffalo Lake, AB, Sheila and David Middleton of Portage Vale, Pat and Donnie McGouey of Highfield, Eleanor Starkey and Vernon Reicker of Sussex Corner and Heather and Mike Jack of Newtown; 19 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; sister Dorothy Crossman; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by granddaughter Cathy McGourty and brother George Smith. He is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's Chapel at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, February 25, 2009.
