LEBLANC, MARY LEA - The death of Mary Lea LeBlanc wife of the late Medric LeBlanc occurred on Tuesday, February 24th, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, August 26, 1926 to the late Gilbert and Philomène (Goguen) Casey. Mary was a former member of the C.W.L, Canadian Legion Auxiliary, Cursillo, and Marriage Encounter. Surviving are sons David (Laurie), Quispamsis; Daniel, Antigonish, N.S.; Thomas (Susan) Saint John; Raymond (Jennifer) Grand Bay-Westfield; daughters Geraldine (John) Mitchell, Fredericton; Margaret-Mary LeBlanc, Perth-Andover; Michelle (Mark) McIntyre, Fredericton; Catherine (Greg) LeBlanc, Fredericton; a brother Norman (Eleanor) Casey, Saint John; sisters, Eileen Richard, Saint John; Eva Stevens, Toronto ON; Edmee Brideau, Saint John; Theresa Earl, Saint John; Yvonne (Bernard) Nordstrom, St. Stephen; cherished grandchildren, Jennifer (Nicholas) Paul, Mattea (Joseph) Turnbull; Nathan, Darren, Keri-Lynn, Joshua, Daryle, Jessica, Christina, Katie, Candace, Sarah, Jessica, James, Rachel, Grace, Jelisha; 6 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews, special friend and sister in law Evelyn Gray. Mary was predeceased by, her husband, parents a brother Gilbert Casey Jr., and a sister Edith LeBlanc. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John (646-2424), with visiting hours from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Thursday, February 26th, 2009. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Matthews Catholic Church, Grand Bay- Westfield on Friday February 27 at 11 am. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
