LITTLE, SYLVIA ANN - With great sadness the family of Sylvia Little announces her passing on Wednesday, March 04, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. She died at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in York Mills, on May 4, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Lorne and Mina Little. She is survived by her five children, Heather MacNeil (Andrew), Dale (Shelley), Debbie Brien (Larry), Anna James (Dwayne), Karen Northrup (Mark); grandchildren, Amy Campbell (Lee), Mandy Fillmore (Sean), Jessica Burke, James and Wade Little, Craig Little (Ashley Blanchard), Adam, Harrison and Justine Brien, Megan and Matthew James and Ross Northrup; great grandchildren, Emma Campbell, Bailee, Burke and Darcy Fillmore, Josh and Parker Brien, Aliyah Hurley and Clara Little; sisters, Ethel Dorcas, Mabel Embleton, Roxie Hood and Elizabeth Little, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her three brothers, Amos Little, Elwood Little, Claude Little and one sister, Tressa Vail and infant granddaughter, Katherine. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) visitation will take place on Sunday, March 08, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Monday, March 09, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from Castle Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Ext. Cemetery in the spring. A reception will follow the service at the Fallsview Family Reception Center.
