CARR, ELEANOR ISOBELLA - The death of Eleanor Isobella Carr (MacIntyre) (Anderson) of Saint John, NB wife of the late Ross Carr, occurred on Friday, March 13, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on August 31, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Marjorie (Campbell) MacIntyre. During her working career she had been employed with NB Publishing Co. in the Circulation Dept., prior to her retirement she had been employed with Colwell's Clothing. She was a life member of Carleton Branch # 2 RCL, a member of the Taoist Tai Chi Society and the "Ding-a-ling" Bowling League. Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Judith (Robert) Robichaud of Saint John; five step-children, Ralph (Nancy) Carr of Sussex, NB, Frank (Janice) Carr, Mallory (Robert) Phillipson, Cara (Glen) Carr-Stewart and Wade Carr, all four of Saint John; two grandchildren, Alexandra and Spencer; several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and several cousins. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Sunday from 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
