KING, GERALD JOSEPH - The death of Mr. Gerald Joseph King, husband of the late M. Doris King, formerly of Lorneville, occurred at the Carleton Kirk Lodge on March 16th, 2009. Born in Bathurst on January 21st, 1930, he was the son of the late Vincent and Ida (Legacy) King. Mr. King had worked as a CPR Trucker and for himself, working in the woods. He is survived by one daughter, Linda (Robert) Stevens; nine sons, Stanley (Mabel), Andy (Wendy), Barry, Gerald (Dale), Thomas (Becky), Johnny (Stella), Darren, Wayne (Amanda) King all of Saint John, and Kenneth (Ashley) of Lepreau; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by brothers Lawrence and Willie, and sisters Doris and Theresa. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701). Visiting at Fallsview on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
