MACDONALD, ROWENA ELOISE - 88, of Upper Woodstock, NB, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at The Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Rowena was born in Wakefield, NB on December 9, 1920, daughter of the late Harry and Geneva (Henderson) Shaw. Rowena is survived by her daughters; Rebecca MacCallum (Myles), Moncton, NB, Emily Bouton (Delbert), Upper Woodstock, NB, four grandchildren; Wade MacCallum (Deanna), Moncton, NB, Garth MacCallum (Celine), Moncton, NB, Greg Bouton, North Dakota, Sara Erwin (Coleman), Alabama, great grandchildren; Nyla, Janelle, Talya, sister, Sherrill Reeves, Michigan, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Rowena was predeceased by her husband, Charles, and thirteen siblings. Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville, NB on Friday, March 20, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2009 from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 11 AM. Interment will be in the Simonds Cemetery at a later date.
