CAISSIE, ALEXIS - At the Grand Falls Manor, March 20th, 2009, Mr. Alexis Caissie of Drummond passed away at the age of 94 years. He was the husband of the late Marthe Beaulieu by first marriage and of the late Odette Desjardins Beaulieu by second marriage. Born at Lewiston, Maine in 1914, he was a son of the late Samuel and Florida (Aurélie) Caissie. Mr. Caissie was a member of the Grand Falls Golden Age Club. He is survived by his children: Ginette McGuire (Joe) of Woodstock, Morel (Violette) of Grand Falls, Romeo (Diane) of Melford, Saskatchewan and Velma of Lower Sackville, NS; the children of his second wife: Guy Beaulieu (Jeannine) of Bowmanville, Ontario, Carmel Beaulieu (Diane), Madeleine Ouellette (Rino), Réjean Beaulieu, Monique Beaulieu and Gérard Beaulieu (Nora) of Drummond, Bernadette Bellefleur (Jean-Louis) of Grand Falls, Cécile Beaulieu (Léo) of PEI, Anne-Marie Morin (André) of Rivière-Verte, Lucille Beaulieu (Wally) of Ottawa, 32 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, two brothers, Ambrose of PEI and Alcide (Jeannette) of Drummond, one sister, Irène Beaulieu of Drummond, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Raymond, a sister, Claudia Babineau and three brothers, Joe, Ernest and Eddy. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Sunday from 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 9:30 to 11 am. His funeral service will be held Monday, March 23rd at 11 am from the Saint-Michel Roman Catholic Church, Drummond, with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
