BUDGELL, ROSS A. - Ross A. Budgell of Saint John passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday March 24th, 2009. Born 1931 in Bishop's Fall, Newfoundland to the late Gordon and Florence (Bartlett) Budgell. Ross was a Korean Vet serving overseas. He was a member of the Legion Branch # 14 for many years. Ross and his loving companion Nancy were avid dancers never missing the dances at #14 on Fridays and Saturdays He enjoyed playing darts, shuffle board, dancing with his Nancy, going to Korean Vet Banquets all over Canada, trips to Newfoundland and spending time with his family and friends. Ross leaves behind his special companion of 28 years Nancy Kingston of Saint John and her three children; one son Andrew Budgell of Labrador, NL; three daughters; sisters Violet Parsons, Janet Hibbs and Louise Walsh one brother Ike Walsh all of NL; several grandchildren; nieces; nephews and many friends. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424). By Ross's request there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday March 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m, a legion tribute service will begin at 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
