MCKINNEY, BARBARA JANE - It is with sadness that we announce the sudden death of our sister, Barbara Jane McKinney, on April 11th, 2009, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Barb was retired from an administrative assistant position with the main branch of the Royal Bank in Saint John. She lived quietly, enjoying the company of her friends and her chosen family, Rose and Don Beattie and their daughters, Sherry and Amanda. Barb is survived by two brothers, David McKinney (Wanda) of Rothesay and John (Mary Ellen) of Fredericton; a nephew, Wayne McKinney (Catherine) of Rothesay and grandniece, Jane Alison McKinney of Rothesay. She was predeceased by her parents Ethel (Waters) and Aubrey McKinney. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:30 PM from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
