RIDEOUT, GERTURDE - Gerturde Rideout of Lower Brighton, NB passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2009 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. She was born March 30, 1934 in Ontario and was the daughter of the late Jack and Alice (Bowman) Burr. She is survived by her husband, Eldon (Al) Rideout of Lower Brighton, NB; children, Hope (George) Parsons of Bairsdville, NB, David Rideout of Montreal, QE, Lucie (Ross) MacDougall of Fredericton, NB, Michael Rideout of Yorkton, SK, Alanda (Emerson) Clark of St. Thomas, NB, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, sister, Joan Voss of Ontario, brother, Calvin (Barbara) Burr of Nevada, nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving friends and family on Wednesday, April 15th from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland, followed by an informal celebration of Gerturde's life at 8 p.m. Interment will be in the Windsor Cemetery at a later time. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Windsor Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
