HAROLD EDMUND LENIHAN
LENIHAN, HAROLD EDMUND - The death of Harold Lenihan of Saint John West, husband of Marion G. Lenihan (McGrath) occurred April 15th unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Harold was born in 1934 and was the son of the late Hugh Lenihan and Dorothy (Ahern). He was a printer for NB Publishing at the time of his retirement. Harold was a founding member of the Saint John Press Club. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, biking and walking. He was known for his sense of humor and loved to tease everyone, especially his granddaughters. He is survived by his daughter, Patti Blake, son-in-law, Dana and the love of his life, granddaughters, Madison and Laura, sister Kay Duffy (Malcolm), brothers-in-law Bernie (Eileen) McGrath, Gerald (Nancy) McGrath and sister-in-law, Ethel (Norman) LeBlanc, of Moncton, nephew, Paul Melanson and family Carol, Scott, Chanelle and Anna as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Mark (1979), brothers Paul and Gerald Lenihan and sisters, Jean Lenihan and Corrinne Melanson. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John West (634-1701) visitation will take place on Thursday, April 16, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, April 17, 2009 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. from Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church.
