WHITAKER, ROY JOSEPH - The passing of Roy Whitaker occurred on Sunday April 19, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. He was 79. He was the son of the late George and Mary Whitaker. His home was in the Village of Gagetown, NB. He is survived by one son; Eric Whitaker (Sylvia) of Tracy; three daughters; Debra Faircloth (Peter) of Saint John, Darlene McFawn (Fred) of Maugerville, JoAnn Mann (Michael) of Rothesay; seven grand children; three great grand children; one brother Allen; three sisters, Lucy, Mabel, and Gertie; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. At Roy's request there will be no visitation or service. The family would like to extend an extra special note of thanks to the owner and staff of Riverview Comfort Home in Gagetown, Dr. Greg Thompson and all of Roy's Nurses of 4SE.
