MITTON, WALTER - Following a brief battle with cancer, Walter Mitton of Picadilly passed away on April 18, 2009 at the age of 70. Father to son, Kevin (Mary Anne) of Sussex, daughters: Karen Craft (Blake) of Salmon Creek and Cindy Mitton (Debbie) of Quispamsis; Grampie to Tracy(Anthony Hatt), Shanna and Justin Craft, Alicia and Candace Critchley and Great Grampie to Wyatt and Dakota Hatt; Special Companion to Norma Melvin of Sussex Corner. Walter is survived by his brothers: Earl (Alice) and Bob (Paulette); his sisters: Verda Fanjoy (Harry), Eileen Cole, Jackie Armstrong (Bob) and Betty Anne Myers (Raleigh); his brothers-in-law, Charlie Bruce and Clifford (Kate) Hodgin; his sister-in-law, Joyce Sandford; as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife, Lois; his parents: Willard and Mildred; his brothers: Cecil, Douglas, Vernon and Murray and by his sister, Margaret. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A Celebration of Walter Harold's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 11:00 am. The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery.
